VARANGER – On the top of the world… No, we’ve done that one before. A new hospitality concept is being developed along the Varangerfjord in Finnmark, Norway. Inspired by older Sami and Kven settlements and technologies, we are designing a reinterpretation of peat huts – the local “gamme” or “goahti” – to allow for a spectacular stay next to the water.
